Looking for a GPU for OBS/VR

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Anything modern will do just fine.

For reference the rtx 2060 is about 2x as fast as your 970. And the 3060 ti is a good deal faster than that.

I’m looking for a good GPU for OBS and VR. Right now, I have a GTX 970, and while it’s okay, I plan to get the Oculus Quest 2, and I’d like to get a GPU upgrade for that. I also record some games with OBS at 1080p60, and I’d like to stream some of those games too on the same computer. I’ve heard that OBS doesn’t natively work well with AMD GPU’s, so I’m looking at an RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition card. I’d like some advice on some graphics cards that would work well with this situation! Part list below.
