cpu throttle

hi, im using a i5 9600kf cpu, my cpu throttles when playing genshin even though it ran a week ago, it isnt overheating but peaks to 100% while my gpu stay under 50%

pc spec:

cpu : i5 9600kf

gpu : gtx 1660 super

random naked ram : 16gb (2x8)

psu: sagotep 550w

motherboard: prime h310m-r r2.0

When it's peaking to 100% have you checked the task manager or resource monitor to see what's pegging the CPU?

genshin but same goes for most games, they worked before but now dont

What's your CPU temp ? Cooler ?

Throttling can come from thermals or from the meh board

my temps are low like near idle and my cooler is a deep cool with a large heatsink and all

Any other game with issues? Genshin is terribly optimized for PC, there might be some update that messed the performance.

If only genshin that runs terribly, then the issue is genshin.
