laptop Help in finding budget laptop

My little sister is getting ready to start college and my mom wants to buy her a laptop. I'm concerned it's going to run slowly and the SSD to fill up quickly. My sister will likely only use it for streaming movies, browsing the internet, and schoolwork. We are working on a budget, so anything that's on the cheaper side and gives a good bang-for-the-buck would be appreciated.
