I'm running lxdm + jwm on ubuntu server, and am wondering how do i switch the drivers to nvidia drm? I used command "lspci nnv"

And it said nvidia-drm is an option, but its using regular nvidia.

Prime-select nvidia makes the screen flash rapidly between tty1 and tty7/gui. Typing one letter at a time and spamming ctrl alt f2 to login let me fix this, at the cost of goin back to ondemand. My nvidia gpu according to nvidia-settings sees 0% usage.  I tried making an xconfig but same bug. I have 2 gpus in my system(second is gonna get iommu'd for vm) even tried editing enviroment vareable to enable prime. I think my nvidia driver is also missing xgl somehow? Given the command to check xgl returns nothing but intel vender string. Grep xgl returns nothing. This setup worked on ubuntu 21.10/driver 465 and unity desktop so i know my cards aren't the issue. So im guessing the lack of drm is the issue? Is there a trick to enable this? I am currenrly on nvidia-headless. I tried xserver/xvideo version, regular, and server regular. All can get into de in ondemand mode. But my nvidia card sees no use.

I guess what im asking is anyone know how to make prime offload work on ubuntu server with x11?  Im getting game freezeups cause of igpu.../no offload
