Bootable drive Not Showing Up

Bootable drive Not Showing Up in the boot menu. I am trying to switch my old hp laptop to linux Manjaro. I think the problem is the bios is 2.6 syndeh2o and the only update hp provides is for win 7 and I upgraded to win 10.

I have tried the win 7 update but this did not change the version. the only other Idea I have is reverting to win 7 and trying the update from there.  the bios is a legacy version if that helps.

manjaro was download from the main website

the boot drive was successfully made with rufus 

was sd formatted

the boot drive works on other pc's
