GPU not in use while gaming

Hey all, I recently got a new SSD to put in my PC, so I installed it and reinstalled Windows on it.

Ever since whenever I try and game my GPU is barely in use (0.1% used by overwatch in the task manager, same thing in NZXT CAM). I tried running a benchmark and it was then using 99% or so of the GPU which is what I'm more used to seeing.

I have tried reinstalling windows again, the drivers are all up to date (as of my knowledge), I have reseeded the card.

I'm a little lost about what to do.

Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you

 

specs :

AMD Ryzen 2600

MSI B450 Gaming plus

Gigabyte rtx 2070

Try going to Nvida Control panel and look on Left side Set PhysX Configuration.  Look and see if you connection is using onboard processing or the GPU for processing.

Dont use task manager to show GPU activity its terrible at that. Use MSI afterburner in stead

Is overwatch playable?    if it is, just play  don't worry about utilization numbers

Its playable yes, my problem is still that i know i should be getting more.
