OBS sound problem

Hey guys, I've used OBS to record for weeks and everything has been perfectly fine. Today however, the audio has been messing up and I have no idea why. I didn't change any of the settings, but the audio is recording extremely boosted. The microphone audio boost setting is set to 1 like always, and the desktop boost setting is set to 1 for some odd reason even though until today its always been set as 0. Every time I change it back to 0 it applies and then instantly reverts back to 1. This is the only setting changed so I assume this is the problem, and that its boosting everything like a master volume type setting? Any ideas how to fix this?

Uninstall driver, reboot, reinstall driver is the usually methodology.

If you are using profiles, you need to save them again. Or just reinstall OBS.
