Buy RTX 3080 or wait for 4000 series?

So I’ve recently been looking around for GPU’s and can get a 3080 Asus series for $800.

 

But I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting for the 4000 series to come out. I’m not sure how long until they come out though or if it’ll be difficult to get one.

If the card isn't at a discount compared to MSRP, I'd wait. But honestly, I'd wait at least a day regardless. Nvidia is supposed to make an announcement tomorrow about the 40 series, which should give you a much better idea.

outside of the first month (maybe two) it should be real easy to get.  If you have a Microcenter its likely you can get it the first month fairly easily.  I got my 3080 a month after release from MC and it likely had way worse availability.
