Hey all,

 

Budget (including currency):  None

 

Country: England - Ordering mainly from Amazon but can look around.

 

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Coding, Video Editing and pretty much play all the current popular games.. multitasking to the max. 

 

Other details: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/yx2GVw - Not fussed about RBG, I do like a clean look.. but RBG would annoy me after awhile. Upgrading my old PC from around 6 years ago. Id rather a PC that runs pretty silent. 

 

I understand the PC I have chosen is probably a bit of an overkill for what I need, but money isn't really an issue at the moment. I would also like to attempt to build this PC my self, although slightly scared of the cooling issues. I have all the time in the world to build it and have built a few PCs in the past, but they seemed a lot easier. 

 

Let me know what you think, any suggestions are always appreciated.

i would go from windows 11 to 10 because personally i have had better luck with windows 10 but everything else seems good

Any big issues with Windows 11? I'm not really too fussed which I use to be honest. Only picked Windows 11 because it was the newest version.

yeah, it bsod a lot and it bottlenecked me more than windows 10 and it forces edge on you a lot more than 10 did, you should watch linus' video on it to know what i mean.

Even if money isn't a issue, this is of a waste of money on things you likely wouldnt notice. I'd definitely wait for am5 and 13th gen to release to get more perfromance for you money instead of getting a high end computer right before major releases.

If true, maybe switch to better storage? Something that's PCIE 4th gen perhaps?

 

Ditch your monitor selection and go LG OLED 42inch or something OLED equivalent.

Personally I have had better luck with Window 11. So who is right?
