Keyboard having connection problems

I have an old das keyboard model s / DASK3MKPROSIL

The problem is that I am getting connection problems

 

I deduced to the problem to being either the USB plugs or internal cable damage near the USB plugs

 

Now I don't know what to do, I don't want to go ahead and buy a new keyboard because this one is fine for me right now also a new keyboard can cost a lot of money 

I do have another keyboard the problem with that keyboard is that it has clicky switches and I can't bear the sound of them

 

I was wondering how difficult it might be to fix the cables or should I just buy a new keyboard

As I say in the topic I deduced it to being cable problems, I was only wondering how difficult it would be to fix that.

I'm a beginner, I do have a soldering iron

try making sure the solder joints are good. on both ends.
