Auto backup GMail

The entire point of gmail is that you don't delete things, you just archive and use the pretty damn great search feature.

 

If you want to back up everything, you could have it auto forward to an email server ser up on your NAS and then you can have all them backed up for as long as your storage lasts. You can then mirror that to B2 and you are set. 

But that's a SHITTON of work to do something that you can just do by hitting the archive button.

hey id like a solution for backing up my gmail

right now the after a mail is send to the bin it deletes itself permanently after 30 days

id like to set a system up to either back the data up to a cloud solution or my pc/nas

google one already told me they dont have a system for that in place

anyone knows a good third party solution for this please?

Gmail doesn't delete email except for Spam/Trash.

 

Edit: Now I realize bin = deleted folder.  Yeah, don't delete things.  File them properly, they'll be there forever.

yeah sounds reasonable,but yk i rather have a backup of all my mails incase i do delete important documentation so i can access them,guess i could use the archive function but yah its still a anoying system in my opinion...
