Hi. I want to build a PC in about a month. And I'm planning it now. And I want to know which is more future proof.amd am4 vs Intel lga 1700.

Obviously the more moderniZen AM5 or Raptor Lake, others aren't as legit solutions for what you're asking.

Yes, but Z790 is OTW and will offer some better support regarding stuff like 5.0 SSD sticks.

lga 1700 would be fine cuz its i9 13900k cpu gotta be only 9% slower then am5's r9 7950x

In a month am5 will be here so Id ask again for a full build list then.

 

Also whats the purpose of the system? Gaming, video editing, just office things...?

You are better off just buying a cpu that meets your requirements, and then upgrading when it no longer does.
