Im Looking to start a Data Server for Media (Movies, Shows, Pictures) so im just looking for a place what sells just the server tray and and server towers i cant find any one got any

Your terminology is a little strange, Can you clarify what you mean by server tray and server tower? Do you mean motherboard and case?

(and I assume you mean a NAS when you say Data server?)

A home NAS is not usually special server hardware, just any PC with the right case (for enough drives) and enough SATA ports on the motherboard is what most of us use.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

Unless you plan to use it commercially you would be better off using standard hardware, as another user mentioned you can use a standard has that has the number of drive bays that you are looking for. Fractal makes a good case for this, I don't recall the model but it has something like 10x 3.5 bays with plenty of airflow. I have two servers running standard consumer hardware that has been up for around six years already with no issues. With consumer boards don't focus too much on the number of SATA ports. You can easily add an LSI HBA card to connect more. On both my servers I use one to handle up to 8 drives and keep the onboard sata for the SSD Cache or for an unassigned drive. Both of my machines run unraid. The first is a ryzen 2700x, 32gb ram, 24tb usable, 2x 500gb ssd for cache, LSI 9207 HBA, Quadro k2200 for plex transcoding, gt430 passed into a VM. The second is a ryzen 2600x, 16gb ram, gtx950, gt710, 24tb usable, 2x 500gb ssd for cache, LSI 9207 HBA. Both systems run corsair power supplies. Nothing in them is commercial hardware but they both run various tasks/Vms with no issues.

If you are planning to use it for commercial use we may need more info to try and help you out. You can definitely get a server rack and chassis if you prefer to rack mount them. I picked up a used rack on marketplace for around $100 and use Rosewill cases. They are a good enough quality for home use and can be purchased in different configurations. The fans they come with are garbage though... I ended up swapping all to Noctua fans.

Doesn't matter i found a service https://www.racksolutions.co.uk

Why do you need a rack..? If it’s just for a single machine, no need to rack it.

HDD Space

How much storage space do you need? And how many drives do you plan on needing? Even if you go with a 4U rack, you don’t actually need to rack it. Racks are useful if you have multiple things that are rackable, and network gear, etc.

But, again, how much storage do you actually need? My server lives in a Corsair case that easily fits 11 harddrives in it, 9 harddrive bays plus 2 DVD to hdd adapters. 11 drives with 2 dedicated for redundancy, if you use large capacity drives, puts you well past 100TB of usable space……..

im going to need more than 100TB much more

How much is much much more..? Are you trying to run your own personal Netflix?

In a 45 drives 4U (which can just sit on the ground, doesn’t need to be in a rack), you can get ~ 1PB. I really, really doubt you need that.

Sure, if your going to drop upwards of 25 grand just on harddrives, I suppose you can afford a nice rack to put the server in… but, what is this actually for? Do you actually have a plan in mind to successfully roll out a multi-hundred TB storage pool? Do you have any more details about what you plan to be doing, what OS, what chassis/s will be used, and what the use case is exactly?

its still in works but yes multiple Hundreds of Tbs and ye basically my own netflix

1 45 drives chassis can do this. But the much more important question is how are you going to configure it. If you have any questions, we can certainly help.

Id recommend fully understanding what the deployment will be before you purchase anything…
