GPU choosing between 2

Hi, im looking at these 2 GPUs.

 

MSI GeForce RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X PLUS 12G OC

€ 859,-

 

OR

 

ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 V2 OC

€ 849,-

 

Not sure yet which one I want, they are both pretty similar (as well as pricing). The biggest difference I could find is that the MSI one has 2 gb of memory more while the Asus one is a bit more quiet.

My preference would go to the Asus one just because it's a bit more quiet. Which one would you choose and why?

Typically 3 fan GPU are able to run quieter than two fan models. I couldn't find any head to head acoustic data.

The MSI has more improvements than just the VRAM. It has slightly better performance, between the 10gb 3080 and 3080 Ti.

 

If you care more about noise, go for Asus. If you care most about performance, get MSI.

$10 more for 2gb more VRAM.

Which IMHO, is a steal.

 

Unless you're the type that change GPU every year or something.

Ha no I actually keep my GPU for 5+ years. I guess that also kind of answers the question. Thanks!
