How can I lower GPU temps

Go to solution Solved by Pixelfie,

Don't listen to the first 2 comments. There's nothing to worry about, Radeon cards can get very hot (115c junction for RX 5000 and RX 6000) before they start throttling. Some cards that are designed to be quiet actually get about 100c junction. I do recommend keeping it under 105c, though.

If you really want lower temps, there's a nice feature in the Radeon Software called Radeon Chill. I use it all the time because it's really good. Basically it limits your fps in games, not just by actually limiting the fps, but you give it a target framerate and it will change the clock speeds and voltages based on that, which is way more effective than the normal frame limiters and V-sync in lowering temps, noise and power consumption.

I have undervolted my card, added a custom fan curve, and  i've set my case fans to ramp up on either CPU or GPU temperature depending on which one's hotter but my junction temps hit 87 while gaming. How can I lower the junction temps.

Here are my GPU settings and fan curves. The card is an XFX speedster swft 6600xt 210. I am using a 4000d airflow with 6 fans. 3 intake at the front and two at the top and one at the rear. All three are exhaust.

the temps u have are horrible u should probably clean ur gpu fans and ur who case and also set an aggressive fan curve you should not be undevolting ur system

What's your room ambient temp ?

Agreed. My 6800XT gets up to 95°C on junction, and around 85°C core, pretty frequently. I have my GPU set with a hard limit of 144FPS globally, since my monitor cannot go over 144hz. In games where I hit the FPS limit, my temps stay pretty low, but in other games where I have everything cranked up, the temps can get pretty toasty.

My room ambient temp is somewhere between 85°F and 100°F during the summer, and in the winter, my GPU temps are quite a bit lower, but my room ambient temp is anywhere between 40°F and 60°F. I actually do mining in the winter to keep my room warmer. o.x
