Hai hoomans, so I've read recently changed from a 2070S to a 6900XT, my 2070S was working great with VR, but after changing all my components around in my new build I've launched VR for the first time with my quest 2 linked to my pc and the fps seems fine and smooth but when I look around I get this like glitching, I'm not sure how to explain it properly, maybe it'll be best if I upload a small video of it whenever I get the chance, either ways I'm not sure if it's a amd gpu issue vs nvidia being better for vr or the cable or idk! I'm just annoyed as I am a vr enthusiast

What exactly you mean by “changing all of your components around” may matter here.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Changed my cpu and my gpu, added a new psu and a new NVME, new cpu is r9 5900X

May matter. I can’t see it myself. That video will likely be needed.

Okay so I have tried to record gameplay but it seems the weird bug I'm having doesn't show on steamvr preview, when I'm also at normal oculus home it doesn't glitch as it does when Cabled up, I have tested the airlink and virtual desktop it seems that they don't have the weird issue, so maybe it's just cabled? but I have attempted 2 different linking cables, both at the usb ports at the front of my case, and both direcntly into the USB ports of my MB. It seems I only have the issue when using cabled? which is quite odd to me as cabled linking worked perfectly previously, Is it possible that the usb ports on my MB got screwed up or something? orr the quests linking port screwed up. or is it possibly a setting for my linking idk

The problem currently is the “like glitching”. Need to know more about that.  It could be lag stuff it could be artifacting.  Maybe a better verbal description.  Words don’t cost money here so verbosity might help.  You know what you saw, the problem is describing it well enough to be identified.  More than one try is allowed.  We’ll get there.

I’m seeing a single image which shows heavy pixilation. Big jaggies. I don’t know if that is what is supposed to be shown or if my stuff is just messing up. Is that the glitch?

Should be a short, the pixilation is fine as it's through my phones camera but the parts of the clip where there is a quick flash and the content in the video doubles really fast is the glitch, I can try and slow it down and resend
