My luck continues!

A while back Micro center had a sale where a limited number of I7 4770k's were only 199.99 USD. I went ahead and reserved one and picked it up. So today i decided to try and overclock this guy just to see if it was poorly binned or something.

4.4 GHZ stable at 1.28V

Not the most amazing overclock but its incredible since i got it for 200 USD!

Anyone else pick one up on this sale and have any results to go with mine?

Wow, next time let me know about this deal! I would snatch it also.

 

As far as your overclock, that's not bad whatsoever.. It's not in the top 20 percentile I imagine. But it is above average. Considering that most Haswell CPUs, esp this one, can easily run cool @ 1.3x volts - you're at 4.4GHz @ only 1.28v. That's way better than my last one.

I actually saw the deal on here. I jumped at the deal, i was considering a I5 until i saw this deal. Yes, it is not bad, i can not complain.

Thats a pretty nice bin you got a wicked deal there man, wish i got mine that cheap but considering the wicked bin i got out of mine im not complaining at all
