I have a Ryzen 2200G with Vega 8 iGPU and a Gigabyte A320M HD2 motherboard.

It started about six months ago, whenever the graphics card would get updated to the latest version, the PC wouldn't start (but it POSTed); I had to install windows afresh everytime the graphics card would get updated (it's iGPU of Ryzen 2200G).

Because of these issues I decided to switch over to linux and it went considerably well until one day the PC didn't even POST, the motherboard light and the fans would still appear but then there was no display output. Can someone help me out?

I'm thinking there might be a problem with that cpu of yours. By the looks of it I think it might be a fault with the IGPU of it (As you could probably guess). You could try a system restore, reseating ram, clear bios (take out cmos battery for a minute) or try boot in safe mode? You might even have a problem with the ports on the motherboard. 400w is plenty for your system, but you never know that could be the problem. Hope something of that works!
