Hello everyone! I happen to have found my first gpu an R9 390 triple fan from power color. I tried it in my Pc and it got very hot but the fans didn’t spin. The fans spin on boot so nothing wrong with the fans. I look at sensor read outs but it just was blank. No Temperatur read out was possible but the entire gpu got to hot to touch 😞. Is there a way to save the gpu? I can’t take the cooler of because power color used a thermal adhesive and I fear that I might break the pcb if I yank at it too hard.

thanks as always for take the time to read my post

Maybe set the fan curve manually?

Or use Fan Control to have the fan curve following other's temps readout?

This software could use other's temps read outs as the basis for the fan curve, maybe your CPU?

IDK if the software supports your GPU, but worth a try.

Occassionaly visits the forum when I have nothing to do at work.
