Network setup keeps dropping

I recently updated my modem to a GB modem. I connect to a Google Wi-Fi mesh and the router has only two ports so I picked up a Netgear 5-port unmanaged ethernet switch. My Google Wi-Fi router is connected to Port 5 as recommended. The Netgear 5 Port unmanaged ethernet switch also manages two direct connects to two PCS and connects to a powerline adapter for other areas of the house. Our connection is periodically lost approximately every 20 minutes or so it's like the whole system reboots. What is causing this. All the cables are cat 6
