Probably a dumb question about OBS

Is it only your viewers that will hear your obs filters on your mic? Would people be able to hear it too in game or the friends your playing with? And if so it would be while your running obs/recording right?

If the filter is in obs then only your viewers will hear the filter.

 

Idk if it is possible but if you can use the output of obs as the input on e.g. discord then the filter would be "active" in discord too but this way every other sound in obs is also hearable in discord.
