How much watt?

Hi holy forum.

 

I need help. I want to buy an extra EVGA gtx 780ti, but i dont know how much watt it will take in 2 way sli.

Can someone that maybe have the same build as me, help me?

MOBO: Asus SaberTooth Z87

CPU: Intel Core I7 4770-K

RAM: Kingston HyperX 32gb 2400MHZ

PSU: I have a 750w platinum.

Be more specific about your psu. We need the name. Not all units are created equal.

700W to 800W should be fine in most scenarios.

2 780Ti's in SLI pull about 500 Watts. Your system pulls about 700 Watts altogether under full load. You should be ok

Which model of the 780 Ti? If not the classified editions (either of them), then you should be just about ok with a good 750W unit depending on what you end up doing with the 4770k in terms of overclocking. Since you already have the PSU, go ahead and try it out. If you don't get shutdowns, then great. If you do, go for a 850-1000W unit depending on the pricing. The EVGA G2 units for example are well priced at the moment.
