AMD Video & Sound Drivers Issue

Hey,

I have an HD7800 on my computer. I tried installing a new keyboard (Microsoft Sidewinder X4) and when i plugged it in it didn't respond.

I downloaded the drivers for the keyboard of Microsofts' website and i still didn't work. So i restarted my computer.

The keyboard flashed red but didn't work and it came back on the lowest resolution.

It looks as if the drivers failed or something.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the AMD drivers but it failed to work.

I uninstalled everything related to the Keyboard and plugged it out.

It said that the Video and Audio drvers installation failed.

"AMD Catalyst Control Center cannot be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD Catalyst Control Center."

2. Why would a graphics driver have ANYTHING to do with usb? How much different devices did you throw in that thing? :-O

Around 3 and a hub.

But it's odd has hell.

I also updated my driver few days ago but it worked perfectly fine.

Try unplugging everything but mouse/keyboard and see if you can get your graphics driver installed again.

Well I messed around with the driver manager and the graphics are back on.

The keyboard still doesn't work though.

Are you on Windows 8? If so, use System Restore and restore your computer to a slightly earlier time. 

 

Even if you've never set a restore point yourself, there'll still be some on there.

 

(It won't affect your files or anything).

Try dling the chipset driver for the mobo from the AMD page then pop over to the mobo manufacturer page for the usb drivers if any.
