So I just built my friend a new PC out of old parts I had laying around, first of all here are the specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6700

Abit AB-9 pro

6GB of old DDR2 sticks(3x2GB)

Old Hard drive(80GB 7200RPM)

FireGL V7100

So I have installed windows, and most everything works fine except when I tried to install the graphics driver it fails to install.

All he wants to do is play Minecraft but in order to play that you obviously need your drivers correctly installed, if you have any ideas on how to fix it please reply below!

Thanks!

First of all:

Check if they are vista/7 drivers.

Try to run it in administrator mode.

Try these drivers:

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/workstation/legacy?os=Windows%207%20-%2064&rev=8.583

Or, I found a guide of forcing catalyst drivers on FireGL card:

Gl fixin' :)
