Single or Dual Channel for APU?

Hello, I am building a new build with an AMD A8-5600k.

Since I am on quite a tight budget I have to stick with the single channel one. Would there be a huge difference in Single and Dual channel for my APU performance?

Thanks

Not enough to worry about it. I would look into faster ram rather then More ram.

I actually don't think there is a difference. But some people say that the APU needs dual channel more.

Well yes and no, dual channel is faster, but on a budget single channel can be just as good, When your getting Ram look into Crucial ram as they are pretty well priced if you need  a dual channel kit on a budget

dual channel is a must for APU's, you will see a Significant reduction of performance using single channel.

After a bit of digging around on Google, I managed to find these two videos bench marking the AMD Kaveri APU and there appears a pretty good fps boost from single to dual channel ram.

thanks!

As fast as possible that suits the m/board in duel is best for an APU.

should be cheap as chips if your going for an A8? the best now are A10 but all depends what you want it for, and i know your on a budget so a good A8 should be ok unless your wanting high end gaming then i recommend the A10 with a crossfire to a R7 260X compact edition. (hybrid)

got to love Asus components
