I've got a Kraken x60 AIO cooler.

Just wondering is it normal to have a constant bit of a pump buzz/hum when in use.

I know its the pump as I unplug the CPU header quickly and it goes away.

I've noticed it more since I've made my machine extra quiet (low rpm fans etc)

I'd stick my whole machine in the NZXT H440 I have sitting here, but the Maximus v Extreme don't fit.

although it is designated ATX, the E-ATX can fit, but the rubber pass-through

grommets need to be removed and for assurance a line of electrical tape on

the mobo PCB on back to guard against rubbing. and the cabling will have to

loop from back of mobo tray to mobo. but it will fit in there.

oh and you still could hear you pump buzz. i can easily hear the H220 pump buzz

at 2500rpm when build was done.

The Kraken X60 runs at 3000rpm on silent mode, so I'm guessing its louder.

Was just double checking, with the string of Buzzing video cards (2 Different brands one is still in RAM) I changed from the Asrock Z77 Extreme 4, to the Maximus V Extreme,

plus swapped the Silencer Mark III 1200w for a eVGA Supernova G2 1000w  hoping that fixes it in the end.

When I heard the pump I thought "not again", but piecing together the puzzle I did make the case fans quieter, though the Carbine 500R has open side grills so you hear everything going on in there...lol

And wow tight fit in the H440, but it would be worth it, now just got to pry it from my wife's hands..lol

Thanks guys
