All Z690 boards are at least ok, but indeed the most hi end are DDR5 only

On DDR4 the Asus ROG Strix seems the best one

Realistically no one needs anything other than an MSI PRO Z690, unless other Z690 boards are significantly cheaper cause everyone keeps buying this one.
