i currently have some random 1x8GB 2133mhz ram stick (unkown brand?) and i wanted to upgrade to 16GB

i have a GIGABYTE GA-A320M-HD2 motherboard using Ryzen 7 1700 processor

if you guys could tell me which type of ram  i should buy

That kit should be fine, I don't see anything that would scare me away from it. Just remember that the early Ryzen 7 CPUs like the 1700 have very terrible memory controllers, so 3200MHz may or may not work depending on how lucky you are, but luckily that kit should have 2 XMP profiles on it, one for 3200MHz, one for 3000MHz CL15, so if the first one doesn't work, the 3000MHz one should.

I'm with @RONOTHAN##on this one.

To be truthful, I would be thinking about an upgrade at this stage. A320 is two or three generations behind in chipset, and as RONOTHAN## said, the 1700 does have its issues and shortcomings, as does the A320. You can piece together a 5600X build with a B450 or B550 fairly cheap if you're sharp these days. I just did an interim build with a used 3600X and B450M for $180 while my B550 board was being RMA'd.

well i never thought it was gonna be a problem as this is what's written on the motherboard support guide and bit I'm not mistaking shooudlt any DDR4 3200 work
