I need help installing an OS on my new pc. I've seen keys go for ~15 to those with 119 or something like that, i used the windows media install with 10 home in mind, any tips or help with purchasing and putting the stuff in? I need it so I can install some drivers into my mbo cuz it says it isn't the OS it is needing. tuf b550-plus and need wifi driver

The super simple solution is the official Microsoft install.  You get a license and a USB key with the OS already installed on it.  It’s kinda expensive though. There are much cheaper ways to go but all of them entail making a usb install key yourself. Not a hard thing if you’ve got basically any computer with a USBA port, but you’ve got to have that.  If you can get ahold (borrow, etc..) a computer to make the key all you need is a license code, which is a lot cheaper.  If you could get ahold of a Linux install key for example, you could build your machine, run off the Linux key to make a windows install key and just go from there.  There’s just a bunch of possible ways to get that key built.  But if you don’t have a windows install key it no workey.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
