Mouse stuttering

Hi guys.

I have noticed from today that my mouse is stuttering/freezing for a split of a second in games and in desktop so practically not usuable.

Board is Rampage V Extreme and mouse Steelseries Sensei.

I plugged it to other USB port same issue.

Now I plugged it to the bottom port near LAN connector.

Never had issues like this.

What could cause it?

I maybe damaged the board using RGB LED strip which gets power over USB?

It could be multiple things, in reality.  

From a wire that's bad to heat issues with your PC. You'd need to help us a bit with what you've tried to do to diagnose the issue. 

 

I think I can gather from your post that it is a recent issue?

Suppose that could be the cause, I kind of doubt it though.

 

Could be a driver update that borked it as well - don't know if that's a possibility?

 

Whatever you can give us as to what you've tried would help.

Naaah,I never install anything on that PC...mouse works normal on other USB port (at least for now).
