Hi!

So I just installed a secondary GPU in my computer. I routed power to it and turn on the computer, but the only thing that will show up is the BIOS menu. I am not sure what to do...

Specs:

Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 GT

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread

GPU 1:EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming

GPU 2: ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Twin Edge

AFAIK you can't use two different gpu's in the same system to boost performance. Remove the 3060 and your build will most likely run fine.

If you're trying to do SLI, well...

  1. it's kinda dead. not worth it anymore.
  2. you need two of the exact same gpu to boost performance. You have to also make sure your gpu is compatible to do that. I read that some 3000 series gpu's were not, at least in the beginning.

I know I was planning on using the 3060 to record. However, while waiting for responses I tried using what used to work 1 3080 ti with nothing else.

I tried using just the 3060 now just the 3080. Im still stuck on the same bios menu.

I not sure what the issue is now. Someone please help me ;n;
