Software that does computer installs without doing them manually?

Hello,

Any suggestions on software that can do computer installs without having to do them manually?

Can someone explain how it works?

If you are referring to OS builds I use Microsoft SCCM which can deploy OS, updates, applications and also has lot of other really useful tools. But it depends on the size of your network and how its managed.

There are small tools that can PXE boot and build only.

Yes, I’m referring to OS builds.

can you explain what kind tools it comes with?

Company supports like 20 offices worldwide. (States/foreign offices) about 10-20 pcs/Laptops per office.

Remote desktop, Software deployment including licence management, Windows updates with reporting, device reporting (system specs etc..). Can also manage servers.

You can basically create a software deployment group and target devices based on spec or users requirements.

OS deployment can be managed by any criteria as well. Core OS can be installed and all other applications can be added afterwards either by manually selecting the build type or having prerequisites like PC type like minimum spec or building location. It can automatically join the PC to the domain as well.

The servers are split into 3. Primary server for the management app, Distribution server to house all the applications and images and a SQL server.

You can have more than one distribution server and can be installed anywhere so you could have one per office all talking back to a central management point. Local machines could be then to talk to only their local distribution point to allow for faster downloads and installations.
