I live next to a field and small insects known as thunder bugs have got under my screen. They look like huge dead pixels. Not a clue how they got in there. The monitor is from LG gaming and I do not fancy trying to disassemble the £350 monitor on my own unless it is very straight forward. Do brands or third party companies offer ‘cleaning’ services on these devices?

thanks

If they are dead, they can't be removed without replacing the panel, in which case you might as well get a new monitor.

If they aren't dead, try putting something sweet next to the monitor so they get out. Or use a small light they can follow. Whatever you do, don't turn the screen on as it can die from the heat and if that's the case you can't do anything.
