Post code 8 beeps, but nothing wrong with my GPU

Config:

CPU: Intel i5 6600k

Mobo: Asus Z1700K

Ram: 8GB HyperX Fury

GPU: MSI VentusOC 1660Ti

 

The system was working completely  fine till last night, but now boots with 8 beeps before POST.

 

Troubleshooting tried:

1. Re-seating everything

2. OCCT Memtest - Runs with 95% for over 3 hours with no issues

 

Is there a problem with the GPU? I need to know asap because the warranty runs out soon, and if I need to RMA, I can get it done.

Did you try moving the GPU to a different slot?

 

Might be a weird problem with the slot itself, causing POST to flag it as a GPU error.

8 short = Display memory read/write error The system video adapter is missing or defective

 

I'd say RMA the GPU. The code is specific to GPU memory read write errors. So if true would have the same error no matter which slot the card is installed in.

Try reset the bios, i have the same issue when i changed something on my computer
