Ambient lighting for cases

Hey gents. Just wanted to ask y'all's opinion about ambient lighting in desktops. I've got a 750D and thought it might look nice with purple or some other dark color in it behind the backplate maybe. I've seen strips but wanted to know if there was something other than those. Any recommendations would be very helpful. Y'all are awesome.

white generally gives your pc components a sharper contrast.

 

avoid like for like light on components as it will just dull out the colour of the components, like green light on green components or blue light on blue components. 

 

you want purple meaning you want like a uv lighting effect? then you need uv reactive components for that.
