NZXT H440 fanhub voltage

MalaCraft

Hey Guys!

as far as i know this fanhub is powered by a 4pin molex to a 3pin 12v.

I want to know if there is any way, like with an adapter cable or something, to change the voltage of the whole fansplitter from 12v down to 7v?

thanks,

i used a 12v to 7v adapter from one of my corsair fans and after awhile i noticed it kinda burned to rubber coating. Probably too much current.

I'd suggest you mod the molex to output 7v. not an adapter.

12v molex > 12v to 7v adapter > fan hub > 4 fans

12v molex > 12v to 7v adapter > fan hub > 4 fans

This.

Dedicated molex connectors is the way to go. i use fixed voltage molex for all my fans.
