2:1 aspect ratio encoding

I hear that nvidia nvenc does not do well with encoding the 2:1 aspect ratio. So does that mean the rx6950xt is better for 2:1 encoding compared to the 3090 ti? (price aside)

According to those videos from LTT it seems like Apple M1 and M2, NVIDIA NVENC and Intel have this issue. Can't comment on AMD as I found no information on this but considering this limitation is present across all of these big GPU vendors then it's also likely that AMD may have this issue as well.

However, it may be limited to specific codec like x264 or HEVC for example. Some other codecs may work fine at that specific aspect ratio or resolution.
