Something like a 6700xt is probably the most that you would need for vr gaming. Something like this

is it compatible with intel i7 tho?

Is this completable with the other parts?

It's compatible with everything else, just don't spend $400 on a 2060. If you found that card for ~$200 used and were just including that listing for us to know the exact model, that's one thing, but for $400 you can do a lot better, both new and used.

It’s hard to find something in a reasonable price. I had a friend tell me that with that money just get a 3080. Would a 3080 work with my parts

I wouldn't trust a 3080 with that PSU, and with a 9700K you'll likely be pretty CPU bottlenecked in a lot of stuff. I would aim for a 3070/RX 6750 XT at most. Used RX 6700 XTs should be easy to get for ~$400, 3060 Tis should be ~$300-400 used. If you want to go new for $400 a RX 6650XT is about as good as you can get.

Whatever is cheapest 2 fan card is. The difference between any 2 3060s is 2% at most, so getting a higher end card is pretty pointless. Just avoid the single fan cards since they tend to be a bit louder and hotter than their dual fan counterparts.
