asking for recommendations

i am looking for cheap monitors that are not too bad, i like big monitors, and personally, i've only ever had laptops so i don't know; but 18" was always too small for me. oh, i don't need supers accurate colors, or wide viewing angles, as it would be sat in one place only, but i need it to last.  don't do much gaming, and my hoby is 3d modeling (that's the reason that i want it to be big, to open the tabs)
