Cant decide between these 2.

ADM-Ntek

Budget (including currency): 3000€

Country: Bought in Germany but shipped to Paraguay.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Star Citizen, Starfield, Cyberpunk, some light picture editing. target is 1440p@144Hz.

Other details Going to keep my case(Big tower) and 6 SATA drives 3HDD 3SSD.

I put these together but can't fully decide the AMD is a bit cheaper and has as far as I can see no issues.

But with the intel im not sure, I have to mount the CPU cooler with the exhaust to the top breathing in the hot GPU air. But I can easily move my current exhaust fan to the top. I'm also kinda worried about what I have heard about the issues with the CPU mount. Especially when mounting over a kilo of heatsink to it. Water cooling isn't an option for me.

Any recommendations on what to chose or changes? did i miss anything?

12700F has identical performance to K variant within margin of error, you can see in benchmarks here . Allows for cheaper B series motherboard since the CPU can't overclock anyway. Went with a DDR4 motherboard as DDR5 makes very little difference in games.

Swapped for the Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler. Went with a corsair power supply as well.

Overall this build will perform near identically to your original Intel build but is roughly 600 Euro cheaper.

Pick the Intel build but replace the DDR5 memory with DDR4. You'll get a cheaper motherboard, RAM and still keep the same performance.

You are also missing a case.

So this is what I came up with now it's about 300€ cheaper I also included all the stuff I plan to keep from my old rig minus the case since it isn't listed on partpicker.

Switched to DDR4 and a 12700 non-K since the GPU is still nice to have in a pinch and it's only a 20€ difference. Still went with a Z690 since that is the only way to get all the connectivity I need/want. Switched the 1000W for an 850W PSU but I am still kinda worried about the PSU and if 850W is actually enough when it comes to transient power spikes Steve made a recent video about.

Also despite what the Noctua site says. I found a build on partpicker with this board and that cooler in standard orientation. So that is great.

Swap the 3080ti for a 6900XT Red Devil. Save yourself 255euro and get the same FPS.

Or spend 50euro less and get the 6950XT Red Devil that will get you the same or more FPS.

The price for the 3080Ti that is listed on partpicker isn't correct. it's only 1149,99 when i go to the site directly. Also i have a gsync monitor. But 16GB of vram sounds nice have to think about it.
