Asus Motherboard Beep Error Code

Eponymous98

Hello everyone,

Quick question; I recently reseated the front io panel cables on my desktop and when booting for the first time I heard 1 long and 3 short beeps which from what I've read indicate that there is a "Conventional or Extended memory failure". The PC however boots fine and after restarting it the beeps are gone. Do I need to do anything, or should I just leave it as it is?

Thanks

I forgot to add that the problem could also be with the GPU, which also seems to work fine.

I would try to reset CMOS to see if that fixes it.
