This is my current setup:

49" G9 Samsung (Ultrawide 5120x1440) (Displayport)
23" 1440p random Dell (Displayport or HDMI)
65" 4k TV (HDMI) (Running at 1080p)
Valve Index (Displayport)

Hardware:

1000w PSU Corsair RM1000x
9900k OCed at 5Ghz (Water cooled)(Test with and without OC)
64G Ram running at 3200

ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 3080 10GB Gaming OC

What has been tested:
Reinstalled windows (10 and 11) currently using 11.
DDU -> New driver without internet connection.
Undervolted/Underclocked GPU

Switched PCI Lane

Different Drivers

The problem i am having is:
I cant get all of them to work at the same time, it started with having 1440p and ultrawide using Displayport, which causes the system to Bluescreen when steamVR starts.

1440p HDMI + Ultrawide DP + Valve index = works

TV HDMI + ultrawide DP + Valve index = works

1440p HDMI + TV HDMI + UltrawideDP + Valve index = Does not work but i dont bluescreen at least, just get an error in Steam VR saying cannot connect to headset

1440p DP + Ultrawide DP + Valve index = bluescreen (SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED)

Also everytime i start SteamVR my monitor blinks and sometimes gets darker on 1 half (ultrawide)

Drivers are the latest 516

Cant figure out what the issue is especially with the bluescreen one, cant 3080 TUF handle 3x DP outputs? would be lovely if someone had a clue what is going on so i dont have to disable 1 screen all the time when playing VR 🙂

Any ideas?

With those screens and a VR headset you need a SLI 3090 ti to handle all of them :D.

Joke aside, maybe you should try with 1 screen, then increase to more screen until the BSOD starting to happen again.

My guess is the whole setup is a little overkill for a 3080 to handle.

That is a lot of hi-res panels to run off that one GPU, might have to set one panel to 720p and see if that helps.

I'm better at fixing people than PC's... For now.

NVidia hates running multiple displays at different resolutions and refresh rates.

I've made a point to always run like monitors/displays with multi-display setups.

Kinda sucks, but you might need to limit to one display and the VR headset when running VR.

Update on this.

Upgraded to 1200W asus thor PSU still the same issue, came across some reddit threads that the G9 was causing the issues tho and i disabled adaptive sync and changed refresh rate to 120 instead of 240 in the G9.

Seams to have solve the issues so far, screen doesnt restart when starting SteamVR anymore, and havent crashed yet
