Problem when gaming full screen

So whenever I launch a game in full screen, my computer decides that it doesn't want to display it full screen. It will try to display it, but then it goes back to my desktop and it happens every time i want to open the game in full screen.

this happened with bioshock infinite on my laptop, no idea why. Maybe update drivers, or find a way to reset the game video config outside the game.

Try ALT+ENTER. Thats hotkey for full screen. But reason why software refuses to run full screen is another program or windows error. Try closing any software that uses popup notification or excessive amount of ram (know to cause windows error screen).
