Administrator Issue

Hey! So I recently formated my HDD, so I freshly installed Windows. I am logged in with my Microsoft accouint, and no other accounts are on the PC, so I am supposed to be Administrator. Yet for some reason I am unable to access admin stuff, it asks me for the admin's name and password, and my only option is to deny it. What could have caused this issue, and how can I fix it?

Also, my Microsoft Account behaves very strangely. It feels like I'm just a regular user, while I'm supposed to be admin. So its its like if no account would hold the Admin role.

Hello and welcome to the forum.  

 

I have a couple of questions:

1. When setting up Windows after the reinstall, did you just log in with you MS account?
2. What version of Windows is this (10 Home, 11 Pro, etc.)?

Since you have a clean install of Windows, you could try reinstalling again to see if that fixes the issue.

Yeah, I also thought of re-doing the install, since the whole thing seemed overall very glichy for me.

I'm running Windows 11 Pro, and yeah, I logged in with my MC Account.
