PC running at unplayable frames

So i have a EVGA GTX 760 SC and a AMD Phenom ii X6 1090t. (yes i know its very old) and i get unplayable frame rates in valorant. The game used to run fine now its running terrible. and I know the graphics card is fine since it runs better in other games just not valorant. I've read that its CPU heavy so I think somethings wrong with my CPU. I'm getting a new CPU later this year, i just need something to help it in the meantime

It sounds like you just have an old CPU tbh. It could have just been silicon degradation.

Check temps? Maybe it's time for some new paste and pads on the ol' GPU and CPU.
