  1. For a system of this low a budget, the $50 difference between the 12100 and 12100F isn't worth it for the iGPU if you don't plan on using it daily. Yes it's useful for troubleshooting but that $50 would be better spent on a better GPU.
  2. You can get a cheaper kit of RAM that will perform better. Yes it doesn't have RGB but at this budget, RGB should be your last concern. You can always buy a pack of RGB fans or cheap RGB tower cooler in a few months once you've saved up a bit more.
  3. The price difference between a 6600 and 6600 XT is $50, I'd say it's worth it for the performance uplift.
  4. You should really aim for a board with WiFi instead of getting a WiFi adapter. Usually it's cheaper and it's less prone to issues (those USB WiFi adapters are a pain to work with, they've got horrible reception and drivers that just don't work most of the time).
  5. 1TB SSD instead of 250GB. 250GB really isn't enough, even if you just plan to use it as a boot drive. 500GB is the absolute minimum if you're gonna get storage at the same time, and the price difference between 500GB and 1TB models is usually so little that you might as well just get the 1TB drive instead.
  6. Added a 4TB HDD at the same time (you can always ditch that and plan to add it in later). 4TB drives are usually the best $/TB you can get.
  7. You can get by with a 650W PSU for this system, and the A650GF is a pretty good PSU at a price you can afford.

This system should be more or less the same price as what you originally selected (depending on if you go for the HDD or not it's either ~$50 more or ~$50 less)

Sure, i'm just using it for a boot drive but ok.

250GB as boot is barely enough. I bought myself a 500BG M.2 cause it was on sale, $5 more expensive than the 250Gb and I though y not.

Thank god I did because even after 4 years of carefully planning where I install all my apps, off the boot if I have the choice, I am now left with 10GB and I don't know where all that space went.

Unless you're matriculate and plan out an excel spreadsheet of how much installing anything will take up space, 250GB is not enough as boot for any mortal like us.
