How to set "LCD Custom string"?

Go to solution Solved by Kilrah,

These seem to all be hardcoded things that can only be enabled/disabled, seems there is one called "Custom string" but it'd be for the manufacturer to customize and you as user can only choose to display it or not.

I have a Celsiue M470 which has a lcd built in, and connected to the motherboard's internal lcd connector. I recently noticed that there is an option to set a custom string in the bios, and I saw another forum that asked this, but it never got an answear, there is also said that my pc, should support custom strings.

Is there a way to change a the "Custom string" on the lcd?

I couldn't find any submenus to set it. There is only an option to Enable or Disable it.

There is a certain amount of “why” attached to this one.  I’m not sure kicking a label maker fetish is worth it.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

What's the question? You said you found a BIOS option to set it, so... set it and see if it works?

But I don't know how to, there is no option or setting to do that, in the bios at least.

We're trying to understand what you're saying because in one post you initially said there is a BIOS option for it, and now in another post you say there's no BIOS option for it.

If there isn't one then you likely can't change it.

There is an option to "Enable" and "Disable" it, but I could not find a way to *set* it.

If there has to be a way to set it otherwise you probobly would not be able to Enable or Disable it. But I'll send pictures.
