it would make sense with a different mobo, that thing is just way to expensive.

Edit: Nope the CX600 doesnt have 3pin fan connectors but the mobo does. The psu only has Molex connectors which can be used to power fan with 12v.

Is it a good idea to get Molex to 3 pin adapters just in case? I mean, how long are the fan's power (cord?)

Does that Motherboard have hackintosh support?

And I really need a wireless card, preferably dual band N.(AC is expensive, right?)

Yeah very nice build, except the MoBo.

Swap it out for a Gigabyte z87x-ud3h or if you want to save some more money, the MSI z87-g43 or MSI z87-g45 is very nice as well.

CPU: i7-4770k (LM modded) - MB: GA-Z87X-UD3H - RAM: HyperX, 16GB 1866MHz - GPU: Palit GTX 980Ti Super - Storage: 1TB HDD + 500GB/120GB SSD (850 Evo/840) - Monitor: Predator XB271HU - PSU: 700W BeQuiet 80+ Gold

why would you build a hackintosh?

I want to use applications like garageband and stuff....

Plus, Why not?!

I'm honestly not familiar with hackintosh or whatever that is, haha!  Buy a wireless PCIe wireless card, they are like $20-$30 for the high end ones.

Buy the Corsair CX600M for $45

Buy that RAM I listed while it is still low, $70 for 1866Mhz RAM is really really good.

Don't spend $120 on a case when a $40 case will work just as well, and it means you can upgrade to a 780!

That case is usually $80, and it is going for $40 after rebates and gift cards, I would get that bad boy.  Case doesn't impact performance, and if going with a $40($80) case means the difference between a 770 and a 780!

All motherboards come with USB hubs, just a fancy word for a bunch of USB ports placed close together.  This motherboard is really fantastic, I have it myself, and it is very smart, very intuitive, easy to understand BIOS, and software.  The FanXpert stuff is really top notch too.  You really don't need to spend more than $100 on a motherboard unless there is a certain feature that you are looking for.  Motherboard doesn't impact performance.

The RAM that you are getting, why so expensive?  Get the least expensive 9-9-9-24, 1600/1866Mhz, 1.5v RAM you can find.  Brand doesn't matter.  The RAM you select should not be more than $65-$70.

If you aren't building for a month, a lot can change in terms of pricing, so keep your eyes peeled for good deals.  If the GTX780 drops below $500-- pick it up.  If Amazon does one of their i5-4670k flash sales for $180, pick it up.  If the CX600M goes on sale for $45, pick it up.

I really think you will be better off going with the Corsair 300R for $40.  It is an incredible, incredible case that will probably never be $40 again.  You will get better results going with a less expensive case and loading it with quality case fans, than going with a $100 case and being stuck with their shoddy stock case fans.  Case is a very personal purchase, so opinions really differ.

By hub i meant the external thing shown here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132070 (same mobo?)

And I have a lot of gift cards for Amazon that is almost useless, so i thought, might as well get nice looking parts...

For the motherboard, i want to do a Hackintosh, and overclock. Should i get a G1.Sniper? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128671

EDIT: ohh, its an NFC usb hub!!!

But i only have apple phones at home -.-

Any board, so long as it is Z87 can overclock a Haswell CPU.

Nice looking parts are way down on the list.  Get the best possible performing computer at your budget, then worry about aesthetics.

Again, I'm not familiar with what hackintoshing is, and don't really feel like educating myself right now, maybe later because I see the term used often...

You shouldn't have to spend more than $100 on a motherboard, $120 TOPS unless there is a feature you absolutely have to have, maybe the hackintosh feature relys on the motherboard, maybe it doesn't.  Someone will have to clear that up for you, or you can check into it yourself.

The Z87-A, non-NFC will be what you want.  It sounds like you are a novice overclocker.  I too am not very skilled at overclocking, I tried doing it manually, which is what everyone recommends, but after spending a lot of time and blue screening often, I decided to try the automated overclock that the Asus Z87-A comes with.  I was blown away.  It took 15min for this motherboard to auto tune my system to 4.7Ghz at a very safe 1.275v, it could just be that my CPU chip is in the top 10%, or this motherboard worked its magic.  If you decide to overclock, you have to get an after market CPU cooler, that is mandatory.

Hackintoshs are just computers with Mac OS you build yourself (instead of buying Apple's overprized stuff).

Also, does the CX600w have 3pin fan connectors?

You need to rework some stuff.
