Hey folks,

its been a while since I last overclocked my card. However I grabbed Crysis 3 in the last origin sale and wanted to see how it performes (Gigabyte GTX 670 OC Windforce 3x). I already had a Profile with maximum settings, +42 Clockspeed, +143 Memory with temps around 65. Now I came across some much higher overclocks and after some research discovered the world of Bios flashing. The risks seemed low enough that I gave it a shot, installation worked great (DOS method).

Sadly I just wanted to do some tests in Valley to start out overclocking when I came across a bit of a problem :D

With only the Power Target set to 145% and everything else default, the program quickly crashes after starting it...

Boost Clock is at 1293MHz, which still seems rather low but what do i know ^^ at 1.23V  I cant really comment on the temps, since it doesnt get a chance to burn in so I dont think the 53 Degrees are reasonable.

I was hoping you guys could give me some pointers on how i might fix my problem. The card runs fine until boost kicks in. If you need any more info, don't hesitate.

Thanks in advance!

Is the card stable on the new power target at stock voltage at your old clock speed?

Also don't do the in post signature. That is what the signature is for (it is against CoC now I think).

at 100% Power target it is stable, with a max voltage of 1.138V and the boost clock around 1123MHz  I don't have control over the Voltage any more. Even when set to default .987V it goes up under boost. Not sure what you meant "in-post signature"
