Overclocking help

I have a hd 7770 I and I would like to get some more performance, but afterburner won't let me change the voltage so I cant overclock as much  as I would like to. Does anyone know how to unlock the voltage?

There is an option in ´Settings´ that lets you unlock the voltage control. You need to check the box that says ´Unlock voltage control´. Not all cards support this though, so you might not be able to do it.

You cannot voltage control 7770's AFAIK, i managed 1200mhz on stock XFX voltages, 1.2v i think.

As @Recon-UK said, the card is voltage locked. This means that it's probably either a hardware or a BIOS lock, and you don't want to be messing with that.

You can try EVGA Precision X, but I doubt that it will do anything different.

I guess the bios things are a bit advanced but I'll try the evga software.

Better off not touching bioses unless you are 110% sure and ready to take responsibility if you brick your card.

If flashed correctly both times, yes.

It is reversible, aslong as you have a back-up of the original BIOS file.

However of the BIOS file is in any way edited wrong, it can lead to the card getting bricked. And if the card is bricked, the warranty won't cover. 

And there is still the possiblility of it being a hardware lock, which means that a BIOS unlock won't help.

I personally have never bricked a card, but i am not a casual user.

There is, but you need another GPU, however you have a chance that you still cannot save your card, bad flashes are not all the same.

Is the other gpu just to replace the bricked one, or to copy the old bios files

that doesn't sound good so i guess i wont try with the bios stuff cuase i dont want a bricked card

could I use a different gpu to see the display because I have on-board gpu then the bricked card could run it
